The Department of Economic and Business Development at the Consulate General of Israel for the Southeast in Atlanta promotes trade and investment between Israel and the Southeastern states of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Our mission is to help Israel's entrepreneurial workforce partner with US industries in creating mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Per capita, Israel has more high-tech startups, scientists and engineers, research and development spending, venture capital investment, and patents registered in the United States than any other country in the world. The Department of Economic and Trade Affairs is a resource for information on Israeli companies and industry trends and helps identify potential investment opportunity and strategic partners. American companies trying to do business in Israel, or Israeli companies trying to expand to the Southeast region, use the office's expertise and connections to open doors in those markets.
