The celebratory commissioning of the Information Communication and Technology Training center in a Muslim dominated area located in G​​wagwalada Area Council, Abuja.

In attendance during the inauguration were Ambassador of the State of Israel, H.E Dr Shimon Ben- Shoshan, Honorable Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu (who the center was named after), Deputy Head of Mission of the Moroccan Embassy, Directors of the Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Capital Territory Administrators, Teachers, Students, etc.

The center is renovated and furnished by the International Aid Agency (MASHAV) of the Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Israel and Skill 'G' Nigeria Limited, to train teachers and students in the fields of Sciences, Mathematics, Technology and Agriculture  which will be used for distant learning also long after the COVID19 pandemic.

We believe that ICT and education are closely linked and essential to building emerging economies. This is why we are certain that the work that has been done here to improve teachers’ access in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Agriculture, will yield great benefits not only for the FCT but for Nigeria as a whole.
