COVID 19 Update

    Traveling to Israel Regulations
    Pursuant to recommendations from the Ministry of Health, entry into Israel with foreign national's passports with no direct ties to Israel will not be permitted until further notice.

    Only special cases are subject for approval by Israel Ministry of Interior.

    Please see below:

    Who can apply for a permit to enter Israel?


    * Children of Israelis Citizens, up to the age of 18, holding only a foreign Passport.
    * People that their base of living is in Israel, more than 181 days a year.
    *Non-Israeli spouse of an Israeli citizen will be considered. 
    *Common-law marriage of an Israeli citizen living abroad.
    * Student Visa A\2 
    * Events/weddings/upcoming birth/lonely soldier-
    Entrance for direct family only: Parents, siblings, and grandparents.
    Each event will be considered according to the restrictions: for birth- only for grandparents and must be submitted for approval only a month before or after the birth.
    * Pre-approved B/1 Work Visa Holders
    * Others who must arrive Israel due to an emergency.
     
    Which documents do you need?

    Children of TWO Israel Citizens, up to the age of 18, holding only a foreign passport:

    * Copy of the parent's passport.
    * Copy of birth certificate of the minor.
    * Copy of the minor's passport.
    * Copy of flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel, please submit one declaration per adult (minors can be submitted with one adult). 


    Children of ONE Israeli citizens (Other is a foreign citizen), up to the age of 18, holding only a foreign Passport:

    * Copy of the parents' passports.
    * Copy of the minor's passport.
    * Copy of birth certificate of the minors.
    * Flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel, please submit one declaration per adult (minors can be submitted under one adult). 

    Note - If the parents are divorced or If only one parent flies with the minor the non-flying parent will need to sign a declaration at the consulate or in front of a local notary authorizing the ​travelling of the child with the flying parent. The document needs to be submitted with the rest of the application. 

    Foreign spouse of an Israeli citizen, ONLY when the marriage is registered at the Israeli consulate or at the Israeli Population Authority:

    * Copy of the Israeli citizen passport.
    * Copy of the spouse's passport.
    * Copy of the marriage certificate. 
    * Flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Copy of international health insurance coverage with reference to COVID-19 coverage
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel. 

    Spouse of an Israeli citizen living abroad, and did not register their marriage in Israel:

    * Copy of the Israeli citizen passport.
    * Copy of the spouse's passport.
    * Marriage Certificate with an Apostille stamp (MANDATORY). 
    * Flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Health insurance coverage with reference to covid-19
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel. 

    Note: If the Israeli citizen is ALREADY in Israel, he/she must make the request for the entry of the spouse at the Israeli Population Authority (Misrad Ha'Pnim) and NOT via the consulate. Such requests submitted to the consulate will be denied. 

     
    Common-law marriage of an Israeli citizen living abroad:
     
    * Copy of the Israeli citizen's passport.
    * Copy of the spouse's passport.
    * Copy of domestic relationship certificate
    * Proof of publicity of relationship. Examples: Rental agreement, a Shared bank account information, shared bills etc. (Please provide at least 3 separate pieces of proof).
    * Copy of flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Health insurance with reference to Covid-19
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel. 

    Weddings / Upcoming Birth - for the Immediate family members of the event holders in Israel:
    * Copy of the passports of all travelers to the event.
    * Copy of the passport of the couple or the person having the event.
    * For a wedding invitation - A Copy of the rabbinate approval.
    * For upcoming birth: birth record/pregnancy record.
    * A document proves the family connection between all who submit.
    * Flight reservation to Israel.
    * List of all the people including in this application.
    * Health insurance with reference to covid-19
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel, please submit one declaration per adult (minors can be submitted with one adult). 

    People that their base of living is in Israel, more than 181 days a year (not for students)

    * Copy of the passport
    * Copy of the visa
    * Documents proves your base of living is in Israel (rent, city taxes, bills etc.).
    * Flight reservation to Israel.
    * Health insurance with reference to covid-19
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel, please submit one declaration per adult (minors can be submitted with one adult). 

     
    Student Visa A\2:

    All standard documents mentioned on our visa page for a student visa must be sent.
    In addition - your institution of study will provide you with two additional permits regarding COVID-19 certification that must be added to the application. We will provide you with a visa valid for the academic year as a whole and a special permit valid for TWO weeks from date of issuance, during which you may enter Israel. 
     
    Others who must arrive to Israel for humanitarian reasons:  

    * A letter explaining your situation.
    * Copy of your passport
    * Copy of the Israeli passport of the person who you are visiting.
    * A document proving the family connection between the visitor and the person in Israel (In case of child, for example, a birth certificate)
    * Documents showing the nature of  your emergency. (Hospital letter, death certificate, etc.)
    * Flight itinerary to Israel.
    * Health insurance with reference to covid-19
    * Declaration for entry permit to Israel, please submit one declaration per adult (minors can be submitted with one adult).
