    Below are the Consular FAQs
     
    1.      How much is the visa fee?
    Answer: The visa fee is N8000.
     
    2.      Are there other additional charges other than the visa fee?
    Answer: There are no other charges applicable for processing a visa.
     
    3.      How is the visa payment made?
    Answer: The fee is to be paid in cash at the embassy on the day of your interview.
     
    4.      How do I apply for an entry visa to Israel?
    Answer: Depending on the type of visa you want (Tourism and Pilgrimage, Medical, Business, Higher Education and Training). To clarify this, go to the "consular service" on the website: http://embassies.gov.il/abuja/ConsularServices/Pages/population-registry.aspx and fill the relevant forms. Send the filled forms and the documents to - consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il.
    A date for an interview will be sent to you via the mail.
     
    5.      How do I schedule a date for my interview?
    Answer: After you have filled and sent the form and the relevant documents to  
    consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il, a date for your interview will be sent to you via the same mail box.
     
    6.      How do I apply for my visa if I have an approval from the Interior Ministry?
    Answer: You need to download and fill out the general visa form and send to consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il
    with the accompanying documents. Then you must to call the embassy +234-9-460-5515 to book an appointment before appearing at the Embassy.
     
    7.    How do I authenticate my documents at the embassy?
    Answer:  The documents for authentication must have an accompanying letter from Israel stating the purpose for the authentication. Send the scanned documents to consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il.
    An appointment date and time will be given to you via email or you may call the embassy +234-9-460-5515 for an appointment.
      
    8.    What documents do i need to bring when coming for an interview?
                 Answer: You need to bring along your original documents and the filled forms that you sent previously, via mail.
     
    9.    Is there any other Embassy of Israel in Nigeria?
    Answer: No. We have only one Consular department and it is in Abuja.
     
    10.   What is the address of the Embassy?
                Answer: Plot 12 Mary Slessor Street, Asokoro – Abuja. P.O Box 10924, Garki, Abuja.
     
    11.   Can a non-Nigerian citizen apply for visa in your office?
    Answer: Yes, so long as the individual has Nigeria Immigration Service resident permit.
     
    12.     How do I get the visa forms?
    Answer: Depending on the type of visa you want (Tourism and Pilgrimage, Medical, Business, Higher Education and Training), go to the consular department of the website: http://embassies.gov.il/abuja/ConsularServices/Pages/population-registry.aspx. and download the visa forms.
     
    13.   How many days does it take to process a visa?
    Answer: It takes 14 working days for a visa to be processed, in the absence of any unforeseen circumstances.

    14.   Can someone else appear for interview on my behalf?
    Answer: No. You must come in person for your interview.
     
    15.   What days of the week is the Embassy open for consular services?
    Answer: We are open Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 10.00am to 1.00pm.
     
    16.    Do I need to book an appointment ahead before coming to the embassy?
    Answer: Yes, you must book an appointment.
     
    17.   How do I apply for a group tourist visa?
    Answer: We only cater to individuals.
     
    18.   Can we send the necessary documents along with the application form via courier service?
    Answer: No. You must submit the documents via the mail box consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il and bring the originals to the embassy on the day of your interview.                                                                        
     
    19.   Can someone pick up my passport for me?
                 Answer: Yes. You can send someone to pick up your passport for you with the slip that was given to you on the day of
                  your interview, a letter of authorization and a means of identification.
     
    20.  Can I send the visa fee to the Embassy's bank account?
    Answer: No. You must pay the fee in person on the date of your interview.
     
    21.   My Spouse and I want to apply as a couple. Is this possible?
    Answer: Yes, it is possible for a couple to apply together provided each of them fills out a separate form and documentation is provided that confirms the relationship. Also note that each of them needs to be interviewed separately.
     

    22.   I want to travel to Israel with my children. Are they supposed to show up at the embassy?

              Answer: Yes. You need to fill a separate form for each child. Children below 18 years of age must appear at

              the embassy with their parents for recognition while children above 18 years of age  must be interviewed just as adults.
