My visit to the holy land is the greatest experience and best memory I will live to share.

 

Arriving at the Ben Gorium Airport at 5.50am local time, I met a group of my follow winners of IAF 2015 Emerging Space Leaders: Dalin from China, Rene from Bolivia and Norah from Ireland. We are set of space experts who have contributed immensely in the development of space in their various countries.
Getting to Prima Park by taxi we were told that our checkin time is 3pm so we decided to visit the old city of Jerusalem. I also cant stop talking about my wonderful hotel at prima Park of Jerusalem. Their Service are awesome and nice.

We figured out how to buy train ticket with credit card. So we entered the train and getting to the Jafa Gate. We met a lot of tourist on pilgrimage we acquired the master of the old city and decided to lead our selves so among the places we visited that rainy morning is: western walls,  Kind Davids Tower, the Jesus tomb, all the stations Jesus passed when He carried the cross. Then it was my first Launch in Jerusalem the restaurant was nice and we ate showama while some ate pita.  Then we went back to our hotel. The next day our space generation congress started at the International Museum in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The place was so beautiful and during the congress i was opportune to meet other delegates from many parts of the world then we were separated into various working groups and I was part of earth observation working group. Where I met a renowned Professor who contributed to the success of our working group. Prof Scott Madry. We worked hard to generate an amazing idea within 3days of our meeting which I am still working on the full report. I'm our idea was about bridging the gap in data sharing for earth observation purpose for the end user.

After SGC 2015 on Saturday we started our Cross Cultural Workshop which was organized by two people i will never forget; Carol Carnett and Scott Madry and both of them did amazing work on us before the International Astronautical Congress on Monday.

The IAC was a life changing congress which gave me the opportunity to visit many sessions during the congress. I learned so much within the short time. I met great men in Space among which includes; Charles F. Bolden NASA's Boss, Johann-Dietrich Woerner the DG of ESA and many other dignitaries. I joined the Global Networking Forum (GNF) session where I met my follow Nigeria who was formally thought by Prof Scott Madry. So the events of the IAC was so amazing including the world class International Convention Center (ICC) a building with high technology and good public facility. The security of all the congress venue was just standard and every event went successfully till the closing ceremony.  The next day we traveled to another city called Haifa. We arrived at 8pm in the city so we just checked in to our reservation. Then the next morning we proceeded to IAF-SUAC International Student Workshop which took place on Sunday from 10:00-16:00 at the Asher Space Research Institute - Technion - Israel Institute Of Technology.

The Institute was just highly equipped with expensive and latest technology for space research which attracted many postgraduate students to consider furthering their Masters and PhDs at Technion Institute. I was also attracted because its really a standard Institute for real technology research not just in area of space but major engineering fields. I got a life changing network i am already considering Technion Institute for my MSc program next year.
