The State of Israel has been invited by the United Nations to participate in the "Legends for a Fairer World" project, which began in 2016 with the aim of producing a children's book, with legends from around the world resonate with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). The book was published and became a success, generating great interest and sparking conversations about unique stories, myths and legends originating in different countries. Four years after the book was published, the UN decided to continue the project and collect more folk tales and stories from countries and publish it on a dedicated website established to do so. Last month, the story submitted by Israel to the project was published on the website: The Legend of the Circle Parks and the Carob Tree. Legend deals with sustainability, environmental protection and the impact our daily decisions have on future generations.
