    Dear Nigerians,
In the name of Israel and the Jewish people, I would like to wish all of you warm and happy holiday on the occasion of the Eid el Kabir celebration. ...
    Barka Da Salah!
Eid begins on the 10th day of the last month of the Islamic year which is also the 10th day of the last month of the Jewish year. This coexistence signifies the common basis of both religions and reminds us of our common history and future.
And, as we start the new Jewish Year, and Nigeria also celebrates its independence, I would like to wish President Muhammadu Buhari, his government and entire people of Nigeria, that this year will bring peace and progress to the country.
To all Nigerians, especially, those in the North East region who have endured the challenges of terrorism, my prayer is that this year will be a year of peace and stability.
    Shalom!
    H. E. Guy Feldman
    Ambassador of Israel
