According to the instructions of the Ministry of Interior and the Immigration and Population Authority, the following measures will apply:
1. Foreign university students (with active student status in Israel) who left Israel due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be permitted to enter Israel in case their university meets all the requirements:
a) University offers separate dormitory for quarantine period of 14 days from the day of arrival and will produce a general health commitment form to be signed.
b) University compiles a list of students and provides this list to the Ministry of Health for approval together with the University’s commitment to enforce quarantine.
c) Authorization for the university and the airline company will be obtained by the Ministry of Health.
2. PhD and Post-Doctoral students can apply for visa through the Embassy
3. Foreign athletes who are members of sport clubs but left Israel due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be permitted to enter Israel if the sport club meets all the requirements:
a) The Ministry of Culture and Sport will pass a complete list of athletes to the Authority of Immigration and Population who will approve for the airline companies that the foreign athletes (with B1 multiple entry visa) are eligible to enter Israel.
b) Sport clubs interested in bringing foreign players must contact the Ministry of Culture and Sport and commit to maintain the health regulations.
4. Non-university students (high-school, NAALE, Taglit) will be permitted to enter Israel and sign the health commitment form upon entry.
5. Parents, siblings and grandparents entering Israel for the purpose of attending their families’ wedding, will be permitted to enter Israel and sign the health commitment form upon entry.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRPORTS IN NIGERIA ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. ONCE ALL LOCKDOWNS IN THE COUNTRY TERMINATE, AND THE AIRPORTS RESUME OPERATION, NIGERIAN CITIZENS WHO MEET THE AFOREMENTIONED CRITERIA WILL BE ABLE TO CONTACT THE CONSULAR SECTION OF THE EMBASSY.
