On Wednesday, 27th of January, the Embassy of Israel held an event together with the US Embassy to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and commemorate the lives of those who perished in the holocaust.
The date mark 76 years to the liberation of Auschwitz. We lit the candles together with #Shemvener #IRemember campaign, watched the documentary Numbered and learned the personal story of a Jewish Swedish family of holocaust survivors from a family member who joined us virtually.
We thank our partners in coordinating the event, the Skill-G innovation Center for hosting it, and the guests who honored us with their presence.
