On Wednesday, 2nd of June, 2021, all fellows got to pitch their innovative products and services to the investors.

The innovation fellowship for aspiring inventors and researchers (i-FAIR Israel Nigeria) is a platform committed to support Innovative Nigerian youths in transforming their ideas to inventions that will drive inclusive and viable industrialization in Africa. The initiative was created through the partnership of the Embassy of Israel, Skill G Innovation and the Nigerian Government to establish an ecosystem of innovation in Nigeria.

The goal of this initiative is to identify potentials, as well as the gaps between prospects and successes, and subsequently bridge those gaps.

A 9-month innovation program by Israel and Nigeria, the i-FAIR initiative has produced 34 start-ups, which have reached prototypes development stage, to address market needs in the fields of Food Security, Food Technology, Medical Simulators, Green/Renewable Energy and Social Responsibility. The Embassy of the State of Israel in Nigeria is working towards transforming Nigeria into a start-up nation, inspired by Israel’s success. It goes without saying, that the hardwork, creativity and commitment on the part of our participants, mentors, experts and partners have played a key role in bringing these innovative ideas to reality. We are glad to see 21 of these participants, who brought their ideas to life in less than a year, stand ready to present their ideas to potential investors.

At i-FAIR Israel Nigeria, we recognize the role of technology in industrialization and we support inclusive & sustainable development in Africa, particularly in Nigeria. We are proud of each and every one of our participants, and look forward to seeing the next generation of innovators at i-FAIR 2021/2022.
