Kelly was appointed by Governor Deal to serve on the Board of Directors for the Department of Juvenile Justice. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Municipal Association, Israel Bonds, Friends of the IDF and the Georgia leadership council for Birthright Israel and Christians United For Israel.
During Kelly’s career, she has worked at the local, state and federal levels of government. At the federal level, Kelly worked on Capitol Hill in the US House of Representatives; at the state level, in the University System of Georgia; and at the local level, as a County Administrator.
Kelly served as a Vice President of Human Resources for a national company with 15 locations nationwide.
Kelly was the inaugural president of the Buckhead Republican Women and received a citation from the Governor for her volunteer work in Junior Achievement and a commendation from the Governor for Georgia’s work in Christians United For Israel.
Kelly received her Master’s degree in City Planning from Georgia Tech with specializations in Economic and Land Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Brenau University.
Kelly is married to Tom Stewart and they make their home in Johns Creek and are active members of First Baptist Church Atlanta where Kelly sings in the Atlanta Worship Choir and Worship Team. The Stewarts meet regularly in Washington DC with Georgia’s Senators and Congressmen to discuss the American-Israel relationship. The Stewarts are members of multiple pro-Israel organizations, the Georgia Republican Party and Fulton County Republican Party.
