    ​Yoav Golan is an associate Professor of Medicine at Tufts Medical School and an expert in Infectious Diseases. His focus is on healthcare-acquired infections and he lectures frequently nationally and internationally. 

    Golan is also an entrepreneur – working on the development of a new medication to prevent an intestinal infection that's rapidly spreading in healthcare institutions all over the world. Golan has lived in Boston since 1999 and continues to collaborate with Israeli partners.
     
    Dr. Golan grew up in the Negev region of Israel. He divided his time in the IDF between the Paratrooper and Med Corps units, and later went on to attend Medical School in Jerusalem.
