Ari Trachtenberg is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. He received his PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, and his SB from MIT in Math/CS. His speaking topics are based largely off of his research interests including, cyber security (smartphones, offensive and defensive), networking (security, sensors, localization); algorithms (data synchronization, file edits, file sharing), and error-correcting codes (rate less coding, feedback).
