    Performance of the Revival of Dance Work from 1987: Different Aspects from this Process of Reenactment​

    Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor are stage artists that have been creating together since 2004. They have received both national and international acclaim for their work that combines elements of contemporary dance with those of performance-art and physical theatre. 
    A large number of festivals and venues have presented their work in recent years: France - “Montpellier Danse”, “Dansem”, “Centre National de la Danse – Pantin” , Germany - “Tanz Im August”, “Pumpenhaus” and “Mousonturm”, Netherlands - “Julidans”, “Noorderzon”, Brasil - “Cena Contemporanea”, Chille - “Gabriela Mistral Center”,  and many others.  Sheinfeld and Laor’s body of work includes the productions “Ship of Fools” (2011), “Big Mouth” (2009), “Covariance” (2004) and many others. Laor and Sheinfeld are also members of the artistic committee of Tmuna Theatre in Tel Aviv.

    Oren Laor studied theatre and performance at the Tel Aviv University between 1993 and 1997. During this time he worked with highly praised theatre directors such as Yvgeny Arye, Edna Shavit and Nola Chilton. Laor's theatre training led him to focus on independent creation and he has been creating contemporary dance works together with Niv Sheinfeld since 2004. In addition, Laor gives workshops of performance, body investigation and creation for professional practitioners at several institutions, including the Academy on Dance and Theatre’s Seminar Ha'Kibbutzim and Itzik Giuli & Yasmeen Godder's "Search Engine".
