Itay Kama is a tenured faculty member at the Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv
University, Israel, and a Visiting Associate Professor of Accounting at the
Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
He received his Ph.D. in
accounting from Tel Aviv University in 2005 and subsequently worked as a
Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting at London Business School. His main
research topics are focused on financial statement analysis, role of accounting
information in capital markets, earnings and cash management, cost behavior,
and equity valuation. He has published in leading journals in his field.
His
professional experience includes working in the consulting departments of
PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, as well as private consulting.
