​On Tuesday April 16, The Embassy of Israel hosted its annual Independence Day Celebration, in honor of Israel's 65 years of Independence.

Israel's 65th Independence Day celebrations will commence on Monday evening, April 15. Israelis will celebrate 65 years to Israel's establishment with festivities, barbecues and nature trips.

On April 14 -15, Israelis will commemorate Yom Hazikaron, the Israeli Remembrance Day, a day of collective and personal anguish mingled with awe and honor for the fallen.

On Tuesday, April 9th, the Embassy of Israel brought young professionals from the Washington, D.C. area together to commemorate Yom HaShoah.
