President Rivlin: “We are one people. The threats we face, are not small, they are big but so are the opportunities. Let’s continue together to work together for all of us, and all peoples”.

PM Netanyahu: "Israel will not allow Iran's regime to put a noose of terror around our neck. We will act without hesitation to defend ourselves, And we will act if necessary, not just against Iran's proxies that are attacking us, but against Iran itself."

PM​ Netanyahu: "There is special meaning to the fact that we are standing at the place where 11 of our athletes were murdered just because they were Jews and Israelis. Millions were slaughtered here just because they were Jews.​"

PM Netanyahu:"Security is not the only aspect of policy, but it is the one that ensures that all others’ good policies are possible, for without security, we will deteriorate very rapidly into a world of chaos, tyranny and violence. Security comes first."

PM Netanyahu: "Here's a piece of that Iranian drone, or what's left of it after we shot it down. Mr. Zarif, do you recognize this? You should. It's yours. You can take back with you a message to the tyrants of Tehran: Do not test Israel's resolve.""

Prime Miniser Netanyahu told him that the remarks that were made were unacceptable and that there was no basis for comparing the actions of Poles during the Holocaust to those of Jews. ​

PM Netanyahu: "The Polish Prime Minister's remarks here in Munich are outrageous. There is a problem here of an inability to understand history and a lack of sensitivity to the tragedy of our people. I intend to speak with him forthwith."

The Prime Minister said that Israel would not allow Iran to establish a military presence in Syria and added that Israel would act against any Iranian attempt to build bases in Syria.

PM Netanyahu: "I am leaving for the Munich Security Conference​ in Germany. This is the most important security conference in the world. I have been invited to present Israel's position to the assembled heads of state and defense ministers."

The meeting was in continuation of Prime Minister Netanyahu's participation in the Visegrad Group summit ​on 19 July 2017 in Budapest, where he offered to host the summit in Israel.

President Rivlin: “This year Israel is marking 70 years of independence, but the Joint has been standing behind Israel for even longer. For more than a hundred years, since World War One, you have been a safety net for our people,”

The five awards will be divided this year between nine winners from five countries. The prizes will be presented to the winners by President Rivlin at a special ceremony to be held at the Knesset in Jerusalem, at the end of May 2018.

PM Netanyahu updated the Americans on the initiatives being raised in the Knesset.

The dialogue addressed issues of mutual interest in the Middle East and across the globe. Both sides expressed interest in continuing this dialogue on a regular basis in Washington and Jerusalem.

Yesterday we made it unequivocally clear to everyone that our rules of action have not changed one bit; we will continue to strike at every attempt to strike at us. This has been our policy and it will remain our policy.
