PM Netanyahu orders dispatch of aid to Mexico

    Israel has received a request for assistance following the severe earthquake in Mexico,
     
    Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered that assistance and a search and rescue operation be organized and leave for Mexico as soon as possible.

    A fifty-member team of the IDF Search and Rescue Unit, together with a planeload of equipment, will depart early this afternoon (Wednesday, 20 September 2017).
