Consul General of Israel to New England Shai Bazak and Deputy Consul General Ronit Nudelman Perl attended Harvard's JFK Forum event titled "The Middle East: U.S. and Israeli Perspectives".
The lecture, which was moderated by Harvard professor and former United States Ambassador Nicholas Burns, involved perspectives from both former United States and Israeli officials. Panelists included Michele Flournoy, former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy under President Barack Obama, and Stephen Hadley, former United States National Security Advisor under President George W. Bush. Representing the Israeli experience were Tzipi Livni, Israeli Opposition Leader from 2009 to 2012, and Amos Yadlin, former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Air Force and Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University.
