    Israeli Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to the United States, Major General Gadi Shamni and his wife hosted the second annual dinner honoring American wounded warriors.

    On Sunday, May 20th, the Israeli Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to the United States, Major General Gadi Shamni and his wife, Hadas Shamni, hosted the second annual dinner honoring American wounded warriors from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C. The U.S. soldiers were joined by their families and other officers of the Embassy's Defense Attaché office for a dinner honoring the wounded soldiers' military service.

    MG Shamni thanked the brave soldiers for their service saying "you represent the very best of American society, who took responsibility and a heavy burden on your shoulders, by joining the US military to serve your country."

    Senior U.S. officials attending the event included Former Deputy Secretary of Defense , Ambassador Paul Wolfowitz; National Director of the FIDF, Mrs. Nily Falic; Asst. Chairman of the JCS for NG Matters, MG Kelly McKeague; the wife of Commander, JIEDDO, Mrs. Linda Barbero and Board members of The Aleethia Foundation.
