The Embassy has hosted our first marriage proposal! We were delighted to help the couple realize their dream of getting engaged in Israel. In a private moment next to the Israeli Flag, Ari Stern got down on one knee and popped the question to long-time girlfriend, Lea Ben-Akiva. We were ready with champagne, rose petals and a hearty Mazal Tov! and toasted the couple "this year in Jerusalem Hall, next year in Jerusalem!"
