    During the last three years, Mr. Oren Marmorstein has served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Israel in Cairo, where he has been dealing with political affairs and specializing in the Egyptian political arena. Among his duties, he has promoted projects for dialogue and mutual understanding between Israelis and Egyptians. He has held varied contacts with activists of Egyptian civil society as well as with Egyptian officials, before and after the Egyptian revolution.
     
    Prior to joining the Israeli Foreign Service (through the Foreign Ministry diplomatic cadet training program) Mr. Marmorstein worked as an associate attorney at the Herzog, Fox & Neeman Law Firm. Before that he worked as a Senior Adviser to the Minister of Interior on the issues of immigration and municipal government.
     
    Mr. Marmorstein holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He worked as a Law Clerk of Justice at the Israeli Supreme Court and he is a member of the Israeli Bar.
