Welcome to the Department of Arts and Culture.

Our mission is to bring Israeli arts and culture into the language of our region; as a means to enter into the heart of Israel. We serve as a conduit between Israeli artists and our communities. Israeli Arts and Culture give creative expression to a nation, both ancient and new, at the cross roads of the world.  Drawing from the nation’s multi-cultural diversity and reflecting Israel’s unique narrative as well as its place in the global story our artists' work blend tradition and innovation.  Our artists reveal Israel’s story thorough the performing, visual, literary, and cinematic arts as well as the in the arenas of fashion and cuisine.  Continually push the boundaries of their art, they inspire self-reflective, communal examination and spark social change, while expressing the essence of the people and the land of Israel.

The Department of Arts and Culture collaborates with our region’s cultural, academic and community institutions/organizations to present a vast array of programs and events: concerts, theatre productions, film festivals and screenings, exhibitions, literary programs, chef workshops and much more. Through these partnerships, we celebrate Israeli culture, encourage cultural dialogue, and foster a multifaceted understanding of contemporary Israeli society.
