The Department of Community Relations works to deepen and build
support for Israel within the Mid-Atlantic Region by creating and expanding
partnerships and networks across a wide variety of communities in the area,
with a focus on Jewish and other faith- based communities and organizations.
The goal of the office is to foster cooperation and strengthen
relationships with Jewish and non-Jewish communities in our region. This is
done through providing Israel related information, programs and activities,
including bringing in speakers and organizing conferences, seminars and
roundtables addressing issues with the Jewish and non-Jewish communities about
Israel and Israeli society. The Department of Community Relations is always
looking for ways to help people of all ages get a better understanding of the
marvelous and vibrant diversity that is Israel.
