Military Status
- An Israeli citizen is required to settle their army status when they reach the age of 16 years and 4 months.
- The procedure is done via mail for those above the age of 18 (e-mail or hard copies sent by regular mail). Minors are required to make an appointment.
- In some cases, additional documents may be required and there may be a waiting period until responses are received from the relevant authority in the IDF (Meitav).
- Photocopy of both parents' Israeli passports. If one of the parents does not hold Israeli citizenship, a copy of a foreign passport is required.
- Photocopy of applicant's passport.
- Application (form 7202) can be found here.
- In case of divorced/separated parents, proof of custody as well as depositions from both parents is required to be presented at the meeting or via mail.
