A Taste of Israel at Anuga

In the European food & drink industry, the trade show Anuga continues to be the seminal event.
With a truly international influence, Anuga pulls in representatives from food, drink and ingredients companies from around the globe, all of whom are looking for innovative and exciting new products, to be incorporated into their food retail and catering services operations.

Among the hustle of it all is the Israeli Pavilion, who proudly shines a spotlight on the most up-to-date creativity Israel has to offer in this arena.
This year, the Israel Pavilion consisted of twenty-two companies, ranging from established International brands such as Wissotsky, all the way through to newer, fast-growing companies such as Prince’s Tahini.
Throughout Anuga, the Israel Pavilion was awash with energy and enthusiasm, constantly busy, welcoming hundreds of visitors. Interest from the UK was exceptionally high this year, with in excess of 20 UK companies pre-arranging a total of 91 one-to-one meetings with the Israeli companies on show.

Feedback on the companies exhibiting at the pavilion was also extremely positive, with many guests delighting in what they described as being significantly high-quality taste. They were also excited by the manner in which many of the products on show were in line with current health trends, such as gluten-free, organic and low calorie content.
With another year over at Anuga, eyes now turn to see how these initial introductions develop.
