On 27 August 2013 at a ceremony in the Israeli embassy, HE Ambassador Daniel Taub was given an original copy of the Order of Service from an event at St. John's Wood Synagogue in 1952, celebrating the establishment of the Israeli legation in the United Kingdom as a full diplomatic mission.

Mr Leonard Klahr donated the document, which had belonged to his late father, to the embassy. Speaking at the event Klahr said it was a great honour that the document had found a new home in the Embassy, and that he was very happy to take part in the ceremony.

Ambassador Taub welcomed Mr Klahr and his family, thanked them for their generosity and stated that this piece of history is an important part of the Embassy's heritage. He added: "sixty one years have passed since this happy occasion took place, I am sure the people who took part in that event in 1952 would be amazed at what has been achieved in Israel over these years".
