CONSULAR SERVICES SUSPENDED

  •

Due to ongoing industrial action being taken by the Foreign Ministry in Israel, there are limitations on the provision of some consular services. Therefore:
Until further notice, we are forced to stop issuing passports and all visas to Israel.
Where possible, we recommend that travellers to Israel use their foreign passport to visit the country.
In case of emergency, we can issue a "one-time travel document" that is valid for two weeks and is suitable for direct flights to Israel only, for Israeli Citizens and residents.

In the instance that it is absolutely essential that the matter is addressed without delay, you can contact the Exceptions Committee at the Foreign Ministry Workers Committee via the following e-mail address: harigim@mfa.gov.il - you can send a copy to consular11@london.mfa.gov.il
Replies from this email address are received within 10 working days.

Applications for renewal of passports by mail should be avoided at this stage, as should as requests for visas of  any type.

We apologise in advance for the inconvenience.
