Start TLV (previously Bizcamp Tel Aviv) is one of the UK’s
most exciting competitions for Startup companies. The Competition is looking
for the UK’s best tech startup, to win an all-inclusive trip to Tel Aviv, along
with startup winners from 20 other countries around the world.
This year’s competition is organized by Israel’s Ministry of
Foreign Affairs together with the city of Tel-Aviv, and is supported by
Microsoft, as well as our media partner the International Business Times. The
Live Final event will take place at London’s Google Campus. Start TLV’s five day itinerary in Israel includes
a mixture of seminars, workshops and networking events with leading Israeli
entrepreneurs and investors.
As well as getting advice on how to take their business to
the next level, members of the group will have the chance to hone their
pitching skills and even win investment as they present their business ideas to
a panel of VCs.
Applicants should sign up at www.startTLV.co.uk/competition, fill in the online form, and click
submit. All applicants will receive exposure to over 150 investors, VCs and
interested parties, as well as an invite and opportunity to attend the live
final along with the top four companies.
The winners will have the opportunity to pitch, network, meet
experts and investors, and even have some free time in Tel Aviv! The winner
will also gain entry into the DLD Innovation Festival.
Tel Aviv is the capital of the startup nation, with more
startups per capita than any other city in the world! With companies such as
Waze, Get Taxi and Meerkat originating there, Tel Aviv is at the cutting edge
of innovation.
Now in its
fourth year, the final of the competition will be held this year on Tuesday
30th June at Google Campus (previous hosts have included Facebook, Google et
al.).
