Rocket Fired From Gaza Hits British-Israeli Home
3/25/2019
GovXContentSection
At 5am on Monday, 25th March, a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip struck a family's home in the Mishmeret village in central Israel, destroying the house and injuring seven people, among them an infant and two young children. Hamas terrorists fired the long-range rocket with the deliberate intent to kill innocent Israeli civilians, filling it with steel bullets and shrapnel to increase the damage.
British-Israeli couple Robert and Susan Wolf were at home with their grandchildren, along with their son and daughter-in-law when a rocket struck their home.
MDA paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated seven people to Meir Hospital. Among them was a sixty-year-old woman in moderate condition, a thirty-year-old woman with shrapnel wounds on her leg, a twelve-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy, and a baby of six months who sustained minor injuries.
