Yarden Gerbi won a bronze medal in Judo for women in the 63kg category!
Gerbi began practicing judo at age 6 in her hometown of Netanya, and her long list of winnings and achievements includes world and European championships as well as all national championships between 2007 and 2012.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said congratulated Yarden calling her success
"A huge accomplishment! We're very proud!". Also speaking by phone with the Bronze Medal Winner, President Rivlin said "We all held our breath for you, you are simply our champion. Well done."
