This weekend the Embassy of Israel participated in the Student World Study Abroad Fair seeking to promote higher education opportunities in Israel. The event was attended by 2,000 people from the UK and took place at the Emirates Stadium. There was widespread interest in the programmes on offer by the Israeli universities with over 200 students seeking further information on specific courses displayed at the booth. The Embassy was proud to represent all of its leading universities and students had the chance to speak to specific representatives from The Hebrew University and Ben Gurion University.
Students were most interested in learning about the opportunities on offer in the fields of medicine, engineering and international relations, aware of Israel’s status at the forefront of these fields.

The Embassy’s Director of Public Affairs, Michael Brodsky said about the fair: “Israel offers a winning combination of English programmes at the highest level, in addition to great travel opportunities and nightlife. We believe we can raise awareness of the benefits of studying in Israel and attract many British students.”
