Ambassador Taub’s first experience of Mitzvah Day

    ​Ambassador Taub, his wife Zehava, and three of their children had their first taste of Mitzvah Day as they assisted in the painting of two rooms at the Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead. The Ambassador was amongst other dignitaries including Mitzvah Day Founder, Laura Marks, the Chief Rabbi, Lord Sacks and Baroness Neuberger (pictured).
    Mitzvah day is a Jewish-led day of social action which takes place annually. This year’s Mitzvah Day included 25,000 volunteers from the UK and beyond and saw the successful completion of over 800 projects.
     
    Ambassador Taub said that he and his family were ready to “roll up our sleeves and put in some elbow grease. This is a wonderful day to reach out to people. In Israel we go to help whenever there is a disaster and we find that helps build our relationship with others.’’
