  "The BBC has done over the years many programmes, serious programmes, about a phenomena called child soldiers, where people take twelve-year-olds and thirteen-year-olds, and they give them a gun, and they tell them to go fight. That's considered a war crime. So why is it different when Hamas deliberately brings young people to the border and say, you charge the fence and throw rocks and throw molotov cocktails, and here are wire cutters and you break into Israel. Is that not in itself a war crime? Shouldn't Hamas be blamed for casualties on the border when they occur?"
