    As the Paralympics Games opens in London on 29 August 2012, the Embassy of Israel would like to wish the Ghanaian Paralympic team all the best and success as well as all the 25 athletes who will represent Israel and competing in nine sports in Road Cycling, Rowing, Sailing, Wheelchair Tennis, Table Tennis, Shooting, Swimming, Equestrian and Athletics.
     
    Israel debuted at the inaugural Games in 1960 in Rome, winning a total of 364 medals since then.
