Mr Larry Otoo, an Artist / Painter has emerged as the winner of the first ever Israel Radio Quiz Contest. Mr. Larry Otoo competed among three other finalists from our five weeks Israel Radio quiz competition organized alongside the Israel Radio show.
He wins a free sponsored ticket from the Embassy of Israel to participate in a tour of Israel trip to be organized by Joy 99.7 Fm and Litina Tours.
From the 4 of April to the 4 of July 2021, the Embassy of the State of Israel in Accra collaborated with Joy 99.7 Fm to produce Israel Radio. Israel Radio consisted of exciting conversations about Israel on topics such as Israel in Africa; the People of Israel, the Jewish People, the Israeli Culture, the Israeli Lifestyle, Education, Trade and Economy, Agriculture, Innovation among others.
The show hosted various guests from Israel and Ghana to bring insights into the conversation and to educate the Ghanaian populace on the strengths of Israel and possible areas of collaboration to strengthen the relations between the two states.
During the last five episode, the Israel Radio quiz competition was organized for audience on radio and social media to participate. In all, 18 people responded to questions each week. In the end, four finalists qualified to participate in the final competition of the quiz at the studio of Joy 99.7 FM. The four finalists included Livingstone Ocloo, Larry Otoo, Pricisla Hadjor and Isaac Owusu.
