H.E. AMI MEHL BIDS FAREWELL TO PREZ AKUFO-ADDO

    ​On Wednesday, 18 July 2018, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo received H.E. Ami Mehl at the Jubilee House in a farewell meeting. 

    In his farewell address to President Akufo-Addo, Ambassador Mehl highlighted on some of his achievements during his term of service in Ghana, adding that, his yet to be achieved project will be the building of the Christina African Centre next to the Sea of Galilee in Israel which will hopefully be ready in 5 years. 

    H. E. Ami Mehl also used the occasion to re-invite President Akufo-Addo to visit Israel and called on him to improve Ghana’s votes concerning Israel in international organizations. 

    In his response, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo highlighted on Israel-Ghana relations since Ghana’s independence and how the current relations have improved. President Akufo-Addo assured Ambassador Mehl of continued strengthened relations between the two states and assured that Ghana will not take any action that will be hostile to the State of Israel. He also promised to visit Israel before his first term of office ends.
