H. E. SHANI COOPER BIDS FAREWELL TO PRESIDENT AKUF

    ​On Monday 28 June 2021, H. E. Shani Cooper bid farewell to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as she ended her duty tour in Ghana.

    In a meeting with the President, Ambassador Cooper thank President Akufo-Addo for his support during her tour of duty in Ghana. She expressed that her tour of duty in Ghana was a success and the relations between Ghana and Israel had been strengthened over the past three years. 

    Ambassador Cooper added that the State of Israel is supporting the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda in the areas of agriculture, innovation and health through business, development and diplomacy. “The interest of Israeli business in Ghana had increased in the past years while the visibility of Ghana in Israel was rising steadily” she added.

    Through her farewell meeting, H. E. Cooper took the opportunity to invite President Adkufo-Addo to visit the State of Israel on behalf of the Israeli government.

    H. E. Shani Cooper was posted to Ghana in August 2018 and her duty involved serving as the Ambassador to Liberian and Sierra Leone as well.
