EXPLORING DIGITAL HEALTH OPPORTUNITIES IN GHANA

    ​On Wednesday, 20 February 2019, the Trade and Economic Mission of Israel in Ghana held a very successful breakfast meeting with both public and private industry players in the health sector.
     
     
    The meeting explored digital health opportunities in Ghana and how Ghana can collaborate with Israel to tap into this growing sector.

    This was organized ahead of the upcoming MEDinISRAEL Conference and Exhibition to be held in Israel from 25th-28th March. This year’s conference focuses on digital health and will have discussions and exhibitions designed towards global best practices and affordable health technologies.

    H. E. Shani Cooper opened the breakfast meeting and expressed her excitement about the growing collaboration between Israel and Ghana in the health sector. 

    Ms. Ayelet Levin-Karp, Head of Trade and Economic Mission to Ghana, introduced the participants to the prospects of the digital health sector in Israel. She explained that, there were great opportunities in Israel that the players in the Ghanaian health sector can tap into to improve the digital health system in Ghana.
