1. Beginning from today 09/03/2020 at 20:00, all Israeli citizens returning to Israel from anywhere abroad must enter a 14-day home quarantine immediately upon their return. Israeli citizens, including their spouses and children, as well as residents that can present an Israeli ID (Teudat Zehut) stating their status of residency or citizenship, will be permitted entry into Israel subject to their meeting the demands for home quarantine for 14 days from the day of entry to Israel.
2. Beginning from Thursday 12/03/2020, at 20:00, foreign nationals arriving to an international border crossing will be permitted entry into Israel, provided that they can demonstrate their ability to enter home quarantine in Israel.
Hotels and dormitories are not considered as “Home quarantine”
3. Visitors from all countries who wish to visit Israel will be required to state the purpose for their arrival and state their place of home quarantine in Israel in the following way:
• Advanced notification by email, five working days prior to planned date of arrival, should be sent to the consular department of the relevant Israeli embassy in the source country. In Ghana, please send it to the following email: dcm@accra.mfa.gov.il
• Following is the language of the notification that must be submitted in either Hebrew of English:
I, Mr./Mrs. ____________ intend to arrive to Israel for a visit between the dates _________ on flight ________________ from___________________. I declare in full honesty and commit myself that upon arrival to Israel I will confine myself to home quarantine with ______at the following Israeli address:______________

Only after approval of all relevant parties, including the Population and Immigration Authority and Border Control, a confirmation letter will be sent to the visitor\s, confirming boarding of their flight to Israel.
We would like to emphasize that in any case of doubt, the decision whether or not to permit entry into Israel of the visitor lies with the Border Control official and with the Population and IMMIGRATION Authority, according to their opinion regarding the reliability of the visitor’s declaration and paperwork submitted in each individual case.
3. Tourists currently located within Israel will be given time arrange their exit from Israel in the coming days. Until their departure, they must adhere to follow the following rules:
• If they develop any symptoms, they must immediately call Magen David Adom (Israel’s national medical emergency services).
• Take care to maintain good hygiene practices.
• Avoid, as much as possible, large crowds.
• Note that it will not be possible to exit to neighboring countries and then return to Israel.
• Document the course of their travels in Israel.
4. To clarify, anybody currently under home quarantine according to previous instructions by the Health Ministry, is to continue their quarantine to the completion of 14 days following their return to Israel
