CHEF KOBI THRILLS GHANAIANS WITH ISRAELI CUISINES

    ​From the 4 – 8 May 2021, the Embassy of Israel had the pleasure of hosting Master Chef Kobi Mizrahi from Israel. 

    Chef Kobi’s visit to Ghana was one filled with excitement, love and a beautiful exchange of cuisines from Israel and Ghana. 

    He first visited the Makolar Market in Accra, where he had the opportunity to interact with various market women and had a firsthand taste of some local fruits and vegetables. 

    Master Chef Kobi joined Chef Joseph Dogbator at the Dainess Chef's School to provide a culinary masterclass to the culinary students.
     
    At the height of Master Chef Kobi’s visit was the Thursday night delight with invited food bloogers and food enthusiast. Chef Kobi treated to a Taste of Israel dinner where they had the opportunity to taste Israeli dishes such as Hrayme Fish with Tomatoes and Capsicum, Shawama on sesame pitta with Israeli Salad, Galilee Kebab on a bed of Mashwai salad and green Tahini, Falafel and Hummus and cabbage salad. 

    To crown his visit, Chef Kobi joined Chef Elijah of Food for all Africa to prepare hot meals for the Muslim Community in Darkuman to mark Iftar.

    Chef Kobi Mizrahi is an experienced food product development chef and culinary consultant He is the President of the the Israel Chefs Association and serves as President for Chefs Association for Children in Israel.
