    On Friday, 18 March, H. E. Shlomit Sufa met with the President of the Republic of Liberia, H. E. George Weah to present her letters of credence. 

    Ambassador Sufa thus officially begun her work as the new None-Resident Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Liberia. 

    In their meeting, Ambassador Sufa discussed issues of mutual interest to both states and pledged to work together to deepen the good relations between Israel and Liberia. 

    Israel and Liberia has had a long-standing relationship since the 1950s and we are still committed to strengthening these relations in areas that will be mutually beneficial to both our governments and people. In the past, we have effectively collaborated in sectors such as agriculture, health, medical supplies and equipment, State visits among others.
