Ms. Pethuel Sompa Yeboah, a 9-year-old member of the children’s ministry of the Church of Pentecost has won our very fist Drawing Jerusalem of Ghana contest.

Drawing Jerusalem of Ghana Contest was a drawing competition initiated by the Embassy of Israel in Accra in collaboration with the Ghana Israel Friendship Association to engage children between the ages of 6 and 15.

Their task was to express their idea of the city of Jerusalem in Ghana through a creative drawing. In all about 21 churches participated and we received close to a hundred entries.
Ms. Sompa Yeboah belongs to the Church of Pentecost – La Area – Alajo District English Assembly.

On Monday, 20 September, H. E. Shlomit Sufa, Amb.-Designate of the State of Israel to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone presented to her, a certificate of honour for participating in the contest.

The Embassy of Israel is very grateful to all our partners especially the Ghana-Israel Friendship Association and all the various churches that encouraged their Sunday School children to participate in the contest.
