Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) launches a course on "Vegetable Production in Protected Environment ".
The course will take place in CINADCO's Training Centre, Volcani Agricultural Complex, Israel from 6th - 30th October 2013.
AIM OF COURSE
To enrich the participants with the latest advances in vegetable production under protected environment that included the physiological and biological principles and factors involved in plant development and reproduction. The effect of environmental conditions (including abiotic stresses) on vegetable cultivation and learn how to use this knowledge for obtaining high yields with high quality vegetables.
REQUIREMENTS
The workshop is designed for research and extension personnel in the produce industry, government or academic professionals interested in current advances in the vegetable production technologies. It is particularly of interest to researchers and extension activities under the aegis of national or international organizations, institutions, universities, research institutes, civil society and the private sector. Course participants must have a relevant academic degree and at least (3) years of practical work experience in related fields. A full command of English is required.
