    IMPORTANT NOTICE
    Due to an ongoing labor dispute declared by the employees' union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at this time, the Consular Department cannot provide some of the consular services usually available. 

    Due to the above, you may also apply for a visa request in urgent cases. If this option may be relevant for you, please ask for more information by Email: consular@Yaounde.mfa.gov.il​

     

    Visa Requirements for holdres of National/Ordinery Passport

    • 2 passport photos (MUST be 5x5).
    • Valid passport (Six months minimum).
    • Reason of travelling (invitation letter with contact details).
    • travel insurance.
    • Flight reservation (round trip).
    • Hotel reservation.
    • Bank statment.
    • Visa fee - 16,000 frs CFA.


    Tourism Visa Requirements for Service and Diplomatic Passport

    • 2 passport photos (MUST be 5x5).
    • Valid passport (Six months minimum).
    • Reason of travelling (invitation letter, ID photocopy and contact information of inviter).
    • travel insurance.
    • Flight reservation (round trip).
    • Hotel reservation.​


    Official Visa Requirements for Service and Diplomatic Passport

    • 2 passport photos (MUST be 5x5).
    • Valid passport (Six months minimum).
    • Reason of travelling (invitation letter, with contact information of the inviting person).
    • travel insurance.
    • Flight reservation (round trip).
    • Hotel reservation.​

     
    Note:
    1. All visa applicants MUST request visa appointment by email ONLY. To request visa appointment write to consular@Yaounde.mfa.gov.il​. Please attach to the Email all the required documents. Please write the Email in English or French.
    2. The consul may request additional documents.
    3. Candidates for MASHAV courses are not required to pay Visa application fee.
    4. For those employed, provide an Attestation of service from employer; for those working for the government provide an Authorization to leave the country/or Mission Order. 
    5. Business man required to provide tax payer's card and business licence.
    6. The embassy has 14 open days to examine each visa application.
    7. Since the fee is collected for handling the application, it will not be refunded to the applicant if the visa is not issued for any reason.


    There are several methods of delivery that we accept.
    • In person.
    • DHL - when sending your documents you will need to pay in advance for BOTH directions of the delivery.
    • It is also an option to get a person to deliver your passport on behalf of the applicant. You will need to contact the Embassy before to inform us and to provide us a photocopy of ID card and a contact number of the person making the delivery/collection .

     

    VISAS FOR TRAVEL TO ISRAEL FROM THE CENTRAL AFRICA SUB-REGION ARE ONLY OBTAINABLE FROM THE EMBASSY OF ISRAEL IN YAOUNDE. THE EMBASSY DOES NOT RUN ITS CONSULAR SERVICES THROUGH ANY AGENTS AND SHALL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANY THIRD PARTIES.
