Guidelines for US citizens for arrival in the state of
Israel
The implementation of the reciprocity principle, which
is one of the main principles of the Visa Waver Program, has begun. The a
procedure requires any country that seeks to be accepted as a member of the VWP
with the US.
This new procedure establishes an outline that will
allow any American citizen to enter Israel, and later, with the acceptance of
Israel as a member of the VWP, will allow any Israeli to enter the United
States, for tourism, without the need for applying for a visa. The full
implementation of the new procedure will apply to any American citizen,
including Americans with additional citizenship (regardless of the other
country of citizenship), American residents of Judea and Samaria, and American
residents of the Gaza Strip.
