Memorial Day, Yom Hazikaron in Hebrew, is a day of collective and personal anguish mingled with honor for the fallen. It began yesterday, 21 April 2015 and will end today evening, 22 April 2015.
The Embassy of Israel in Kathmandu marked the day with a ceremony with the participation of Israeli community in Nepal and Israeli travellers. Today we remember and honor the 23,320 fallen soldiers, police officer and civilians who gave their lives to protect Israel.
