Celebrating the wonderful ties with MASHAV Alumni, the Embassy of Israel in Nepal in cooperation with Shalom Club Nepal organized Shalom Club Members’ Gathering on 11 December 2018. The main purpose of the gathering was to promote networking amongst the MASHAV alumni and to come up with ideas and ways to do something together for the betterment of the society, as Shalom Club members. This gathering was first of its kind, where Shalom Club members who went from 1970s to 2018 came together and presented the ideas of how they can contribute to the community, in unison.

Presentations were made by Shalom Club members on topics such as “Education”, “Health”, “Agriculture” and “Entrepreneurship.” The panel discussion was also arranged, where MASHAV Alumni brainstormed and discussed about activities that can be done by Shalom Club Nepal.
The Embassy believes that the plans of activities of the MASHAV alumni can be materialized soon. We are hopeful to conduct such gathering annually.
