A Photo Exhibition of Israel is being on display at International Mountain Museum in Pokhara from 24 January 2016. The photographs were taken by Ms. Kuku Christina and Mr. Girish Mason, freelance photographers from India during their visit to Israel. A display of stones, taken from Dead Sea of Israel, the lowest point on the Earth and Mt. Everest, the highest point on the Earth are also included in the exhibition.
The exhibition was inaugurated together by Honourable Aananda Prasad Pokharel, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and H.E. Mr. Yaron Mayer, Ambassador of Israel.
In his inaugural address, Honourable Minister Pokharel said that Israel has become self-sufficient on food by utilizing new technologies and that Nepal could learn a lot from it.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Yaron Mayer expressed that such joint project can boost tourism for both countries.
