H.E. Mr. Hanan Goder Felicitated

    SHALOM Club Nepal organized a felicitation program to honour H.E. Mr. Hanan Goder, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, on 3 June 2014 to bid farewell and appreciate his contributions to Nepal. The event was held at Nepal Telecom  Training Center, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
     
    Presenting a Plaque to Ambassador Goder, Dr. Rabindra Kumar Shakya, former Vice Chairman, National Planning Commission and President of SHALOM Club Nepal said, "His Excellency has been very innovative, coming up with constructive ideas to undertake activities in diverse fields – from the paintings of the peace message in the wall of the school buildings to the preservation and promotion of environment as well as in organizing the "Peace March." These activities have brought Shalom Club alumni together and work in imparting the message of peace and development so important to lead a secured and decent life. The Shalom Club Nepal is pleased to be a part of this effort".
    Accepting the honor given by the SHALOM Club Nepal, Ambassador  Goder said, "The flourishing friendship between Nepal and Israel will ever last and I am very proud to be a part of the good works and the lovely friendship."
     
    Mr. Mukunda Raj Prakash Ghimire, Member Secretary of the Shalom Club Nepal expressed hearty welcome to all the guests. He also recalled his association with HE while on duty, visiting remote parts of the country.  He recalled the works undertaken by the Embassy and the Club together with appreciation. Mr. Sanjay Dahal, Executive Member of the club read out the Felicitation Letter presented to H.E. Towards, the end, Mrs. Madhu Rajbhandari extended a vote of thanks to all on the occasion.
     
    Ambassador Goder joined the Israeli Mission in Nepal in September 2011 and is expected to depart in June 2014 upon completion of his tenure as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Nepal.
     
    SHALOM Club members and Embassy Staff witnessed the felicitation program.
